60+ Employers and Workforce Partners Registered for AccessDubuqueJobs.com Spring Career Fair
On Wednesday, February 21, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Greater Dubuque Development is set to host our AccessDubuqueJobs.com Spring Career Fair. It will be held at the Hotel Julien in downtown Dubuque, where we will bring together over 60 employers and local workforce partners from the Greater Dubuque region for job seekers to find their next opportunity.
In addition to being open to the general public, our Spring Career Fair is organized in coordination with our Community of Colleges to strategically connect enrolled area college students with an array of rewarding career opportunities available in the Greater Dubuque region. Career services staff from Clarke University, Emmaus Bible College, Loras College, Northeast Iowa Community College, and University of Dubuque will be available to students at the event to prepare them for networking with employers and advise them on which employers might best align with their career goals. Students and the public can also have a professional headshot taken at the event.
With the recent announcement of layoffs by Grand River Medical Group, the Greater Dubuque Development team is connecting with those displaced workers to encourage them to attend the career fair.
Booths at the AccessDubuqueJobs.com Spring Career Fair are available to Workforce Solutions Investors at no cost, however booth registration is now full.
