Iowa's Child Care Connect (C3) centralized system helps families find the care they need
Child Care Connect (C3) is Iowa’s integrated solution to understanding real-time child care availability from providers and demand from Iowa families.
In the past, data on child care was fragmented across individual systems, which made it difficult to envision the needs of children and families across the state.
Today, C3 is providing near-real-time updates directly from child care providers in convenient and easy-to-access online applications, helping families in the Greater Dubuque region find the care they need.
In the state of Iowa, children receive ten hours of free preschool per week.
Child Care Resource and Referral serves providers, families and communities while striving to improve the quality of care for Iowa's children.
