You've made the decision to move to the Greater Dubuque area. The movers are gone, the boxes are unpacked, and you are settled in.
Hosted by a variety of high-energy presenters with in-depth knowledge of the Greater Dubuque area, the Distinctively Dubuque program offers opportunities to:
How it works
The program meets once a week, on Wednesdays from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m., for five weeks. Each three-hour session includes networking, socializing, and hands-on learning. A meal is also provided. Classes are limited to 30 newcomers and is offered at no charge to participants.
Who it's for
Distinctively Dubuque is particularly recommended for those new to the community (five years or less). Space is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
The program is a collaboration between Greater Dubuque Development and Northeast Iowa Community College.
This program is funded by Q Casino+Resort/DRA, the City of Dubuque, and Dubuque County.
