McCoy Group Proposes Major Expansion

Dubuque-based McCoy Group has announced an expansion that could potentially double the size of its corporate headquarters. Greater Dubuque Development has had the privilege of working with GRONEN and McCoy Group on plans that include a new 78,000-square-foot building and the creation of approximately 60 jobs. The Iowa Economic Development Authority Board has awarded McCoy Group tax benefits for the project through the High Quality Jobs program. The company is now awaiting financial assistance packages from the City of Dubuque before officially moving forward.

The McCoy Group is a private, family-owned company started in 1958 by Robert McCoy. Since its humble beginnings, the McCoy family and team of talented employees have worked hard to grow the business to impressive levels.

Today, the McCoy Group is the parent company of Foodliner (Food grade bulk hauler), Quest Liner (Non-Food grade bulk hauler), Truck Country (Freightliner and Western Star Truck Dealerships), Stoops Freightliner-Quality Trailers, W.W. Transport, and McCoy Construction & Forestry (John Deere Construction & Forestry Dealerships). The company has 4,000 employees and locations from coast to coast.

Greater Dubuque Development salutes the vision, tenacity, and dedication of the McCoy family and team members. We are grateful for this company’s confidence and dedication to the Greater Dubuque region, including Greg McCoy's past service as a Greater Dubuque Development Board member. The McCoy Group proves that YOU can be great here!
