Greater Dubuque Development Corporation to Host AccessDubuqueJobs.com Fall Career Fair on October 2, 2024

As part of its 2024-2025 YOU can be great here Community of Colleges event series, the Greater Dubuque Development Corporation is hosting the AccessDubuqueJobs.com Fall Career Fair on Wednesday, October 2, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Grand River Center, located at 500 Bell Street in Dubuque.

Up to 50 regional employers will be in attendance, representing a wide array of industries including Manufacturing, Financial and Insurance Services, Warehouse Logistics, Heathcare, Education, Administrative, IT, and more. These employers are offering opportunities that range from entry-level to professional careers, providing something for job seekers at every stage of their career journey.

In addition to the opportunity to meet with potential employers, attendees will have access to organizations offering services and information for job seekers. Attendees can connect with Northeast Iowa Community College for training and upskilling opportunities as well as job seeker resources from IowaWORKS. 

The AccessDubuqueJobs.com Fall Career Fair aims to connect with connect area college talent with career opportunities in the Greater Dubuque region while also supporting workers recently impacted by local layoffs at John Deere, Duluth Trading, and PSSI to help them find their next opportunity here. Community of Colleges events are designed to engage students currently enrolled in institutions of higher education in the Greater Dubuque region with rewarding experiences off-campus. The goal of these activities is to deepen community connections and retain the talent of tomorrow to ensure we deliver on the promise that YOU can be great here.
