Employers searching for their next great employee are encouraged to consider the St. Vincent de Paul Dubuque’s Back2Work program as a value partner available in the community. Offered approximately every other month, the two-week program prepares participants interested in pursuing a career pathway for entry-level employment. Since its launch, Back2Work has graduated 125 participants, with approximately 85% securing employment or an internship following graduation.
Participants develop skills related to career readiness, workplace and personal relationships, financial and digital literacy, and other areas essential to employment success. Each graduate is also paired with a mentor to support their continued preparation for and pursuit of a desired position.
