Greater Dubuque Development Corporation is proud to announce the 2025–2026 YOU can be great here Community of Colleges event series, designed to welcome and engage students from our regional network of higher education institutions. These free events offer opportunities for students to connect with one another, the community, and the top employers in our region. The 2024-2025 event series successfully engaged over 1,140 students, providing firsthand experiences that demonstrated how YOU can be great here in the Greater Dubuque region.

Held at the Grand River Center in the Port of Dubuque, the AccessDubuqueJobs.com Fall Career Fair offers students the opportunity to meet face-to-face with area employers. Learn about an array of internship, part-time, and full-time opportunities to jump start your career in the Greater Dubuque region.
College Hockey Night

Cheer on the Dubuque Fighting Saints with classmates as they take on the Tri-City Storm! Students receive free admission to the game.
College Bowling Night

College Movie Night

Enjoy a free private showing of Super Mario Bros. 2, which hits theaters April 3. Movie tickets, pop, and popcorn are on us!
All events are free and open to students currently enrolled at higher educational institutions in the Greater Dubuque region.
Registration will be required for the College Hockey Night, the College Bowling Night, and the College Movie Night.
