Open to college students who have an interest in working in fields related to Computer Science and Information Technology; open to high school students taking IT classes who have a teacher or staff sponsor.

Attendees under the age of 21:
Enter through the Front entrance facing Bell Street and take escalator to 2nd floor OR
Enter from parking ramp and take elevator to 2nd floor (Bowling/Events)



What is it?!

Learn how you can launch your IT career right here in the Greater Dubuque area. Start with an Innovation Session with pros from Creative Adventure Lab. Over lunch, hear from a panel of IT professionals on what it's like to work here in the Greater Dubuque area. In the afternoon, check out employer booths with info on how you can start or grow a career in IT or Computer Science with local companies. Walk away with a program of potential future employers, internship sponsors, and new connections in your field!


Tentative Schedule

10:00 to 11:45 a.m. Innovation Training Session hosted by Creative Adventure Lab

11:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Lunch (provided at no cost), featuring professional IT panel

12:30 to 2:00 p.m. Employer Booths
 Learn about career pathways at area companies as well as internships or jobs available after graduation!

Transportation & Parking

The Jule bus system is a free way to get to the Diamond Jo Casino. Use Google Maps on your smartphone and select the bus icon to find the nearest route. You can also use The Jule's Trip Planner website. There are no direct bus routes to the Port of Dubuque. Taking the bus will require walking the last few blocks, over the 3rd Street Pedestrian Bridge.

University of Wisconsin–Platteville: Bus transportation is provided to and from campus for all attendees. 


Ample parking is available at the free City of Dubuque parking ramp in the Port of Dubuque, connected to the Diamond Jo Casino.
