3,300 New Jobs

Promote the creation of 3,300 new jobs to bring our workforce to 60,000 by December of 2017. Job growth is tracked monthly by utilizing the Iowa Department of Workforce Development Labor Force data.

$18.00+ Wage Levels

Increase the Dubuque Metropolitan Statistical Labor average wage for jobs to $18.00+ per hour, an average annual income of $37,440. Dubuque County wage levels are monitored on a monthly basis using the data released by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.

$700 Million in Construction

Spur and facilitate $700 million in new residential and commercial construction in Dubuque County. Construction data is tracked through information provided by the City of Dubuque’s Building and Permits Department and the Dubuque County Assessor’s office.
